IDENTIFYING NATIVE TREES & SHRUBS IN WINTER
10.30am to around 12.30pm with Simon Harrap. It may seem strange, but many trees and shrubs are as easy to identify in the winter, when they have dropped their leaves and have no flowers, as they are in high summer. We have a very wide range of native trees and shrubs and will take time to have a good look at them all. Suitable for anyone with an interest in trees – no prior knowledge is needed!
Booking essential as number limited. £5 (£4 for ‘Friends of Natural Surroundings) plus normal entrance charge (£3 for adults, no charge for under 16s).
Full details of walks in 2018 to follow shortly.
