Become a 'Friend' of Natural Surroundings
Friends can visit the gardens and reserve free of charge (during normal opening times only) and receive our email newsletter, the Bayfield Botanica. The cost is £35 for 12 months for adults and £15 for 12 months for 16 and under. You can sign up in the café.
Bayfield Botanica
The Bayfield Botanica is our regular newletter that is sent out to ‘Friends of Natural Surroundings’. It contains news and updates on events at Natural Surroundings, as well as short articles on recent sightings and the seasonal comings and goings in the plant world.

Volunteer
All the staff that you see at Natural Surroundings are paid employees, but we always need hlp in the gardens and reserve in order to keep them looking beautiful and to help promote wildlife-friendly gardening and an interest in plants and other wildlife.
Volunteers can come as often or as little as they wish, spend a morning, afternoon or whole day, and help with a wide variety of jobs to suit all capabilities and tatse. We provide tools and equipment, trainibg where necessary and refreshments. Please contact us by phone or email, or ask in the café if you are interested.
