Set in the heart of the Bayfield Estate and surrounded by majestic Beech and Lime trees, the ‘Little Café in the Woods’ at Natural Surroundings is unique. We offer a range of simple but tasty food and drink for a snack or a light lunch, including home-made cakes, and, depending on the season, home-made soup or home made quiches and salad.
In the warmer months you can sit in our Tea Garden and enjoy the sunshine surrounding by flowers that are buzzing with wildlife. The Tea Garden is one of the best places at Natural Surroundings to see a variety of butterflies, as well asa selection of birds, including Marsh Tits, Nuthatches and some very tame Robins, with Buzzards and Red Kites regularly drifting overhead.
In the winter you can sit indoors and cosy-up to our wood-burner and enjoy a multitude of birds visiting our action-packed feeding station: Nuthatch, Marsh Tit and Great Spotted Woodpecker are regular visitors.
